IVR (Interactive Voice Recognition)

IVR is the latest in telephone technology. This will automatically take your calls, enabling you to make bookings in seconds.

How to use IVR...
1) After you have called us on 0115 9 607 607, IVR will confirm your address and offer you the next available vehicle.
2) Press 1 to accept, or press 0 to speak to an operator.

You don’t have to use IVR. If you prefer to speak to our friendly local call centre staff, simply press 0 to speak to an operator, and tell them you don’t want to use IVR in future.

If you wish to book your taxis in advance, your IVR settings can be configured for Advance IVR please ask our staff for this upgrade.

Unique i-booking service: (account customers only)

I-book is our new priority service which provides Account customers with a fast, simple, and user-friendly means of booking a taxi online.

I-book is an intuitive, convenient system which gives you total control over the booking process. You can book taxis in advance or ‘ASAP’, and you can request specific vehicle types if you need them. You can even set up regular addresses which can be selected at the touch of a button – and bookings can be edited or cancelled up to the point that your vehicle is despatched.

I-book is also ideal for business accounts, because you can set up individual departments; each of which can have its own PIN number and itemised bill.

How to get i-book …
To request an i-book account, simply give us a call and ask to have one set up. Once we have given you a username and password you will be able to log on to www.i-booking.com and book your own taxis in less than 30 seconds.

Callback

It is our ‘Car At Door’ warning service, which we automatically offer free of charge to all our customers. When your taxi is about to arrive we will call you (typically we’ll just give a couple of rings and then hang up) so you can get ready to meet your driver.
